S51618 - 5/16" HEX BOLT - ATTACHES CASTERS & BOARDS (USE 6010 T NUT)

Hex Bolt - Used for mounting casters to caster board and caster boards to case bottoms. You should have equal amounts of Hex Bolts and T-Nuts. (see info & graphics below) USE T NUT # 6010

Installation modification . . . This is the current modified suggested installation scenario so that customers no longer have to use two different length bolts (they were always purchasing the wrong length for the wrong application, or only buying one and not the other, which caused issues). This modified installation also provides more strength and integrity with all of the bolts going though both the caster board and case wall, while still allowing for changing out one damaged caster without removing the entire caster board assembly. If you have a large surface area caster board, then it would be a good idea to install one or two bolts in areas other than the caster plate holes (as shown in the 2nd graphic below)..

1 Caster - 4 Hex Bolts
4 Casters - 16 Hex Bolts
Other Areas Of Caster Boards - varies based on size of caster boards where you want to install some
