Plank Foam Sheet - Used for lining cases. This is a polyethylene-based foam, which is fairly rigid in nature. Dark charcoal grey (almost black) in color, and very resilient. It may be used for any case lining situation, and is commonly used in the bottoms of cases for supporting excess weight. This is also a great foam for interiors that will take a certain amount of abuse by items with rough or sharp edges, or loose items, such as stands, light fixtures, tools, etc. This is also an excellent foam to use in shock-mount style rack cases, or any case design that has an enclosure "floating" within case walls.

COMMONLY USED IN AREAS OF A CASE THAT WILL BE SUPPORTING SUBSTANTIAL WEIGHT THAT WILL BE RESTING ON TOP OF IT!

    Great Foam!

Good stuff. One roll was enough to do a twin size combo case. Make sure to unroll it and put some weight on it to flatten it out before cutting. This makes it much easier to work with.

This is the harder style foam

I've been looking for a place to get this foam for a really long time. It's the same foam that the high-end manufacturers use in their cases. This is the harder style foam. The stuff that seems like it would take a beating and keep looking good. I'm very happy with the product AND the price! It's good stuff for putting between fixtures in a case. I cut it with a razor blade with no issues.
